We are more alike than different.

When we explore the complexities of friendship and how nuanced they are, we start to see that we are more alike than different. This observation can help in understanding others in the world that we perceive as being outside of our group. We all breathe, love, hurt, and die. We only have subtle differences in the way we see the world around us.

Inspiration: I love egrets. There are many of them where I live. For this piece, I was in the mood for a fairy tale. I wanted to feel a connection between two souls.
